Founded in 2003, Pearl creates timeless garments for special occasions and modern daywear, crafted in silk and a curated selection of premium fabrics in an extensive palette of colour.

Designed by Cris Roberts, the collection reflects a modern interpretation of 1930s-inspired dressing — drawing on the effortless elegance, fluid silhouettes, and bias-cut techniques of the era. Signature styles include the classic cigar pant, wide leg pant, wrap shirts, silk dresses, halter dresses, and dupion silk circle skirts, many of which remain part of the permanent collection and are available to order if not currently in store.

Pearl is known for dressing women for weddings and special occasions, including brides, bridesmaids, and mothers of the bride or groom. Working directly with clients in store, Cris brings a personal understanding of fit, proportion, and individual style, creating garments that feel both refined and effortless to wear.

Specialising in New Zealand made women’s fashion, Pearl offers elegant occasionwear, silk dresses, bias-cut gowns, tailored separates, bridalwear, mother of the bride and groom outfits, bridesmaid dresses, and modern event dressing. Each garment is designed and cut in house in Auckland, with a focus on craftsmanship, flattering silhouettes, and timeless style.

Pearl collections feature luxury women’s clothing made from premium silk fabrics, linen blends, and contemporary textiles, designed for weddings, formal occasions, evening events, and elevated everyday wear.
